BIOGRAPHY
Sadia Uqaili is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Somerset Street. She is an artist, an independent curator, arts administration executive specializing in art collections, engaged environments with museum quality art installations, creative arts engagement workshops for high performance teams and sterling arts educational programs in healthcare environments. Sadia is the past Chief Program Officer at Snow City Arts, specializing in sterling arts educational programs at four leading pediatric hospitals of Chicago.
Currently, she also serves as the Chair of Arts and Culture, Lahore Committee, at Chicago Sister Cities International, is a member of and has been elected to serve on the Acquisitions Committee at The Asian Arts Council.
Previously she worked as a Research Economist at a development financial institution, Bankers Equity Ltd. Fluent in several languages, she has curated traveling exhibits, taught and lectured around the world and her artwork has been exhibited in Chicago, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Phoenix, Karachi, Edmonton and Quebec.
